Terms ofbooking

These terms cover booking classes, class packs, membership, and credit with Floorplay ("we", "us"). By booking or buying anything on this site you agree to them. Questions go to hello@floorplayofficial.com.

Booking a class

  • You can book as a member, with a class pack credit, or as a drop-in. Drop-ins can check out as a guest with a name and email.
  • A spot is held for you for a few minutes while you pay. If payment is not finished in time, the spot is released.
  • Everyone accepts the waiver before their first class, and again whenever it changes.
  • Your ticket is the QR code in your confirmation email and in your account. Check-in opens 60 minutes before class.

Cancelling a booking

  • At least 24 hours before class: a pack credit goes back to its pack with its original expiry date, a drop-in becomes account credit equal to what you paid, and a membership booking is simply released.
  • Inside 24 hours: the booking is marked late cancelled. Pack credits and drop-in payments are not returned and are not refunded. Members lose nothing.
  • Missing a class without cancelling is recorded as a no-show. There is no extra fee.
  • Guests cancel from the link in their confirmation email. Credit for a guest is held against their email and moves into their account when they sign up with that email.
  • If you were moved off the waitlist inside the 24-hour window, you can cancel without losing anything.

If we cancel a class

Everyone booked is emailed. Drop-ins are refunded to the original card, pack credits are returned, and anything paid with account credit comes back as credit.

Waitlist

When a class is full you can join its waitlist. If a spot opens more than 2 hours before class, members and pack holders are booked automatically in line order. Otherwise everyone waiting is emailed and the first person to finish checkout gets the spot. The waitlist closes 2 hours before class.

Class packs

  • A pack is a set of class credits for classes that accept packs. Each booking uses one credit from your pack that expires soonest.
  • Each pack expires a set number of days after purchase, shown before you buy. We email you before credits expire. Expired credits cannot be used or refunded.
  • You need an account to buy a pack. Packs are not refundable once bought.

Membership

  • Membership is billed monthly to your card until you cancel. There is no sign-up fee.
  • Members book any class included in membership at no extra cost, one spot per class.
  • Cancel any time from your account. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund part months.
  • If a payment fails we retry it and you can keep booking for a short grace period. After that, booking pauses until the payment goes through.
  • If the price changes, your current price stays unless we tell you by email before it changes.

Account credit

Account credit comes from cancelled drop-ins and is applied automatically to your next purchase while you are signed in. It has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Account credit is not applied to membership payments.

Gift cards

Gift cards, when offered, never expire.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and include everything you are charged. We never see or store your full card number.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply to bookings made after that date.
